Simple Crocheted Dishcloth & Scrubby
Materials
Lilly Sugar N’ Cream Yarn # 4 app. 40 grams – dish cloth
6” wide Roll of nylon tulle
Boye Crochet Hook size G
Tapestry Needle
Finished Size
Approximately 8 inches X 8 inches
Instructions – Dishcloth
Chain 33
Row 1: Working on the back hump(on the reverse side of your chain) sc in the 2nd loop
from the hook, and in each back hump across. Ch 1, Turn (32 sts)
Row 2: Sc in each sc across, ch 1, Turn. (32 sts) Please note you will be working through
both loops on the top of the st.
Continue row to until you reach 8 inches or until your piece is square. Fasten Off. Using
tapestry needle weave tails into work.
Instructions – Dish Scrubby
Cut nylon tulle into 3 inch wide strips
Chain 18
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, ch 1. Turn (17 sts)
Row 2: Sc in each st across, ch 1. Turn (17 sts)
Continue row 3 until piece measures app 4 inch in height.
This pattern can easily be changed into the size your prefer.
Use a couple drops of Dawn Dish Soap with these – you will be amazed at how well we clean.
Square Knit Scrubby
Materials Needed:
2 -3 Yards Nylon netting by the yard.
1 pair of Knitting Needles size 10
Matching thread & hand sewing needle.
Fold netting lengthwise; to form strips of netting for knitting, cut 2 inches wide.
Cast on 11 stitches
Knit all rows until your rectangle is twice the length of the width.
Please note when more strips are needed, tie on another strip, and continue knitting. Place ties on the inside, fold in half and hand sew edges with needle and thread to close.
